Course Goal

To gain knowledge and notions that can reveal and explain the factors related to the emergence of schools of fiqh.

Historical development, schools, sources, literature and general structure of Islamic Jurisprudence

LO01 Can explain that the sects are caused by the differences in the interpretation of the provisions of Islam in the practical field.
LO02 Explain that the sects, which are schools of fiqh, are not very different from each other in essence and that the differences are in detail.
LO03 Understands that sects are actually a richness of interpretation of Islam.
LO04 Understand that differences in interpretation provide breadth and convenience in practice.
LO05 Taking this experience into account in the formation of new processes that develop according to the conditions of the day can shed light on contemporary problems.
