Course Goal

Macro and micro elements which are absolutely necessary for plant growth and development, to explain the mechanisms of uptake of these elements by plants, their contents and metabolic functions in plants, to teach the symptoms seen in deficiency and excess situations and to explain the ways to eliminate these symptoms. Organic farming and fertiliser use, to teach what materials can be used as fertiliser in plant nutrition in organic farming.

Course Content

In this course, the intake form of each of the macro and micronutrients absolutely necessary for the plant; metabolism; explanation of the symptoms related to deficiencies and excesses; solutions for nutritional disorders, the place and importance of plant nutrition in organic agriculture, organic agriculture and fertiliser use, materials that can be used as fertiliser and their contents.
