Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed to comprehend the relationship between yield formation in field crops and environmental events affecting this formation.
Course Content
Dormancy, seed life span, germination-emergence physiology, root growth and function, formation and growth of leaves, leaf area characteristics, branching, tillering and stem growth, transformation, reproductive growth and development principles, thermal time, chilling and photoperiodic response, in field crops Nitrogen nutrition, the effect of the environment, and its relationship with yield.
