Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed to inform students about work accidents and occupational diseases and to provide them with competence in taking the safety precautions needed in the construction industry.
Course Content
Definition and history of occupational safety, Accident occurrence and types, Occupational Diseases and ways to prevent them, Ergonomics, Occupational safety in electrical and non-electrical tools in the workshop, Protectives in occupational safety, First aid rules, Safety precautions in fire and explosions, Labor Law and regulations, Occupational Safety Investigation
