Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to be able to recognize the basic factors that can affect traffic and capacity, to determine the soil properties to be used in the road infrastructure, to understand the methods of improvement, laying and compaction

Course Content

Highway transportation systems, general definitions of highway elements, highway classes and highway geometric standards, route passing, horizontal and vertical curve applications, longitudinal slope, definition and standards, length section features and extraction technique, road superstructure materials, asphalt pavement
