Course Goal / Objective
To provide the basic techniques and skills of tennis and to gain the ability to apply them tactically in the competition. Having knowledge about the game rules. To be able to explain and apply the learned rules, techniques and competition style in one's own words.
Course Content
General characteristics of the tennis game, historical development of the tennis game in the world and in Turkey, Contemporary Tennis court dimensions and game rules, Basic stance types, teaching Forehand, Backhand, Serve, Return of Serve, Volley, Spike and Extreme strokes. International tennis rules. Use of these learned techniques in singles and doubles games.
