Course Goal / Objective
To provide students with knowledge about the rules of the game of tennis. To gain basic technical and tactical skills. To be able to apply the skills gained in the competition.
Course Content
General characteristics of the tennis game, historical development of the tennis game in the world and in Turkey, Contemporary Tennis court dimensions and game rules, Basic stance types, teaching Forehand, Backhand, Serve, Return of Serve, Volley, Spike and Extreme strokes. International tennis rules. Use of these learned techniques in singles and doubles games.
