Course Goal / Objective
The main purpose of this course is to debate the importance of class management in the education system, to investigate the basic strategies, principles and dimensions of the class management and to develop of effective managerial skills.
Course Content
Basic concepts of classroom management; physical, social and psychological dimensions of the classroom; classroom rules and discipline in the classroom; models of classroom discipline and management; management of student behaviour in the classroom, communication and interaction process in the classroom; student motivation in the classroom; time management in the classroom; teacher as an instructional leader in the classroom; management of teacher-parent conferences; creating a positive classroom and learning climate; case studies related to classroom management according to school levels.
