Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed to describe the basic concepts of pharmacogenetics, individual therapy, and the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of drugs, the role of genetic differences in drug interactions, and to explain and evaluate pharmacogenetics in the clinic.
Course Content
Genetic and environmental factors in individual variability, pharmacogenetic and individual therapy, the role of genetic factors in the pharmacokinetic/pharmacodinamic properties, the effect of genetic factors in individual drug responses, gene therapy
