Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to cover the basic topics in classical physics. The main source of all natural sciences is physics. To provide the basic concepts and principles of physics to the student in a clear and logical way. In addition, to provide the understanding of the basic principles and concepts of physics within a broad perspective with interesting applications in the real world. To emphasize the importance of correctly perceiving and understanding the subjects by explaining to the students that it is not possible to solve the given problems without understanding the basic principles and concepts of physics. In addition, it aims to show the role of physics in engineering science with practical examples in order to make our students love physics.

LO05 It defines rotational movements and basic concepts, linear momentum, angular momentum concepts, and basic conservation laws.
LO06 Explain the variables on which inertial momentum depends.
LO07 Explain the difference between rotational kinetic energy and kinetic energy.
LO08 It reveals the difference between rotational motion and linear motion.
