Course Goal / Objective
It aims to examine the rootstock conflicts related to citrus rootstocks, the interaction between the rootstock and their effects on plant growth.
Course Content
Physiological characteristics of rootstocks and their relationship with varieties will be discussed. The effects of traditional planting and dense planting will be examined. Rootstock/scion incompatibility and types of incompatibility and methods of determination of incompatibilities will be discussed. In addition, the reflections of the interaction between rootstock and scion in citrus fruits on nutrition, carbohydrate and hormonal levels of the tree, as well as yield and quality will be examined.
