Course Goal / Objective

Definition and use of cytology and histology, plant cell and anatomical structure, use and teaching of microscope, and training on which microscope to examine and preparing samples for examination

Course Content

Within the scope of this lesson, cytology and histology will be defined; plant cell and plant anatomy will be detailed. In the course, students will be informed about cytological and histological techniques that they can examine plant cells and anatomy. Techniques will be demonstrated in practice and the basic microscope use will be taught. In addition, each student will be allowed to try and examine cytological and histological techniques on their own samples. At the end of the course, the student will understand where cytological and histological techniques can be used and will be able to perform cytological and histological studies on their own.
