Course Goal / Objective

In this course, the examination of remote sensing instruments applicable to landscape planning studies is intended. By the end of the course, students are expected to comprehend the fundamental principles of remote sensing, evaluate applications related to vegetation, soil, water resources, and atmospheric analysis, and identify platforms and sensors that are currently in use or will be introduced in the near future.

Course Content

Description of land use/cover; land use/cover classification using remote sensing; classifiers and techniques; resolution terms and image processing techniques.
