Course Goal / Objective
At the end of this course, the students will be able to; present the concepts, methods and techniques of infrastructure works including surface and subsoil drainage, irrigation of green areas and outdoor lighting in an area where landscape design is developed, and enable them to use these techniques in the creation of infrastructure system designs for the project area in question.
Course Content
Designs drainage systems, open channels, subsurface storm drains, subdrainage design, the irrigation systems; irrigation equipment, basic irrigation hydraulics, lighting systems; lighting equipment, designing for effect, principles of electricity. Basic principles of statics and mechanics.
