Course Goal / Objective

The objective of this course is to identify the dominant energy system used in sport-specific activities for development of targeted athletic performance and to investigate the training methods to improve these energy systems.

Course Content

This course will describe and explain the primary energy systems used in activities related to different sports branches, the changes in metabolic demands both at rest and during exercise, the principles of training load and recovery to develop these energy systems and the preparation of sport-specific training program.
