Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to evaluate fictional texts from the perspective of the types of violence, subjects and victims of violence, and the author's perspective, and to gain a critical perspective.
Course Content
The content of this course is the analysis of fictional texts, especially women, children, nature, etc., from the Tanzimat Era to the present day, to show how the discourse of violence is handled on issues, the aspects of social issues that foster and prevent violence, to identify and analyze the aspects of language that affect violence, and to raise individual awareness on this issue based on literary texts.
