Course Goal / Objective

To introduce the science of chemistry, to gain the knowledge of chemistry at the level to understand, comment and use the events in everyday and scientific life.

Course Content

Solvents and their physical properties; Chemical kinetic; Principles of chemical equilibrium; Acids and bases; Acid base balances; Solubility and complex-ion balances; Buffer solutions; Voluntary change: entropy and free energy; Electrochemistry; Transition elements; Complex ions and coordination compounds; Nuclear Chemistry; Basic concepts in organic chemistry; Basic concepts in biochemistry; Theoretical lectures, examples and practices.
