Course Goal / Objective

The course aims to provide the necessary competencies about the working principles and fault diagnosis of vehicle air conditioning systems.

Course Content

Classification and working principles of vehicle air conditioning systems, Refrigeration cycle, Functions and structure of the cooling circuit elements of vehicle air conditioning systems, Condensers, Compressors, Expansion valves, Evaporators, Filter drier, Types of control circuit elements, Refrigerant types, Air ducts, Valves, Fans, Air conditioning control panel and its function, Leaks in the system and detection methods, Gas charging to the system, Vehicle heating systems and elements, Fault detection (with double pressure gauge) and elimination.
