Course Goal / Objective

The overall aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge of the latest student-centred approaches to teaching in the field of physical education and sport, to develop a physical education curriculum in line with these approaches, to develop skills in the implementation of the developed curriculum, and to develop knowledge of the literature through a review of the scientific research that has been developed and published in relation to the teaching approach that is the focus of the course.

Course Content

Command Style, Practice Style, Reciprocal Style, Self-Check Style, Inclusion Style, Guided Discovery Style, Convergent Discovery Style, Divergent Production Style, Learner's Individual Designed Program Style, Learner Initiated Style, and Self-Teaching Style. Analysis of scientific research on styles in the Mosston spectrum of teaching styles
