Course Goal / Objective

The purpose of the course is to define trauma, to apply the proper emergency care responses to body parts and systems which are affected by the trauma and to show proper transport ways.

LO04 Distinguish the symptoms, findings, emergency care responses and transport techniques of Spinal Cord injuries.
LO05 Explains chest injuries and emergency care responses to these.
LO06 Distinguish the symptoms, findings, emergency care responses for abdomen and pelvis injuries.
LO07 Explains the types of extremity injuries and the emergency care responses in the field.
LO08 Indicates the findings of hot-cold injuries and their emergency care responses.
LO09 Defines the findings, characteristics and emergency care responses of electric shocks and lightning strikes.
LO10 Indicates the types of asphyxia, the ways of approaches to asphyxia and emergency care responses.
LO11 Indicates the poisoning case and the emergency care responses to these.
