Course Goal / Objective

At the end of the course, it is aimed that students will gain the ability to explain the basic methodology of chemistry and translate qualitative concepts into quantitative results.

Course Content

Within the scope of this course; properties and measurement of matter, atoms and atomic theories, chemical compounds, chemical reactions, aqueous solution reactions, gases, thermochemistry, electron structure of the atom, periodic table and properties of atoms, chemical bonds, basic concepts, network theories, liquids, solids and intermolecular forces, solutions and physical properties will be discussed.
