Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to increase students' awareness of occupational accidents and diseases that they may encounter in their working lives. In addition, to know the occupational health and safety organization that should be in the workplace and to ensure that they are aware of their legal rights.

Course Content

Occupational Health and Safety Culture, History, General Rules, occupational health and safety legislation, fires and protection methods, occupational hygiene, workplace risk factors, personal protective equipment and its use, work accidents and first aid in work accidents, working conditions in radiation areas, risk assessment methodology.
