Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to guide students in conducting an in-depth research project on a topic of their choice, adhering to academic standards for both written and oral presentations. Students will design their own research, conduct a literature review, define research questions, collect and analyze data, and draw conclusions. Additionally, they will develop their skills in academic writing and presenting their findings effectively throughout the project.
Course Content
Choosing the project topic and defining research questions, literature review and source research methods, research design: quantitative and qualitative methods, data collection techniques: surveys, interviews, observations, data analysis methods: statistical analysis, content analysis, qualitative data analysis, reporting and academic writing standards, preparing the written report, analysis and discussion of findings, conclusions and recommendations, project presentation and oral defense, project timeline and time management, ethical guidelines and academic integrity.
