Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce plants within the biosphere of the Earth, examine their internal and external structures and characteristics, describe the structure and properties of plant organs, classify plants systematically within the living world, and specifically explain the categories and taxonomy of plants used or potentially used in the field of landscape architecture.
Course Content
This course covers cytology by explaining the structure, functions, and characteristics of plant cells and the cell wall, histology by describing plant tissues, their types, functions, and characteristics, and organography by examining plant organs such as roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds along with their morphological and anatomical features.
