Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach students who will become agricultural engineers to develop any writing techniques. To learn how to write their experimental reports and theses and to learn scientific ethical rules, as well as to speak effectively and well in front of the public. Preparing effective presentations using computers and social media. In addition, providing the necessary knowledge and skills to prepare a Project and write a report and thesis. To be able to write the project subjects effectively, to gain the ability to express the solutions. Make a powerpoint presentation and give an effective talk in a good way in front of the public.

Course Content

Literature review, article writing, critical reading of the written texts. Learning how to write thesis and reports. Presentation methods: Direct instruction, Discussion, Question and Answer, Make Case Studies. Effective presentation process; Preparation for Presentation: Developing the goals, clarifying the main ideas. Designing the activities to ensure active participation, Calculating the presentation time, Determining the presentation flow; Remarkable Beginning. Common mistakes are made in presentations; Preparing and realizing computer aided presentations; Introduction to PowerPoint; Visual-Literacy: Creating Images, Interpreting images
