Course Goal / Objective
The aim of theLegal Texts and Judicial Correspondence course is to develop legal writing and judicial correspondence skills that will enable law faculty students to use the language of law correctly and effectively.
Course Content
Students learn the linguistic structure of legal documents, correct terminology and professional style, and understand how to use legal bases and evidence in legal documents. In addition, the role and impact of legal correspondence in the legal system is emphasised. The ability to analyse the logical structure of legal documents and to detect errors in written documents is developed. The characteristics and writing techniques of different types of legal texts such as petition, defence letter, application letter, contract are taught so that students gain the ability to design and evaluate new documents by making use of various legal sources.
