Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to develop knowledge about the properties of structural steel materials, load-bearing elements in steel structures and the combination methods of these elements, facade and roof systems in steel structures, and skills in the design of simple industrial structures with steel construction materials.
Course Content
The content of this course consists of the properties of steel construction material, its historical development, combination methods in steel structures, steel beams, steel columns and steel flooring systems, facade and roof coverings in steel structures, steel material and design principles of a wide-span industrial structure.
