Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to introduce organic agriculture and to give information about the history of organic agriculture in the world and in Turkey. The principles of organic farming are explained by discussing the necessary conditions for organic farming. Organic products, the effects of organic agriculture on humans and the environment are defined.

Course Content

The concept of organic farming, the history of organic farming and the development process are given. The development process of organic agriculture in the world and in Turkey is explained.
