Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to teach as a very young social science, historical development and basic principles of economic sociology. During the course the role of economic sociology, as a bridge between economics and sociology, will be emphasized.
Course Content
In this course historical development and basic principles of economic sociology will be explained. Besides main criticisms which are made against mainstream economics will be told. According to the approach of economic sociology, economics should adapt a social perpective. During the course the perspective of economic sociology for the economy will be told,
