Course Goal / Objective
to give students the capacity to frame research questions, to formulate research designs, and to apply appropriate research methods to the gathering, analysis and interpretation of evidence
Course Content
The course content includes topics such as reasons for conducting research, analysis logic, selection and formulation of the research problem, explanatory and descriptive studies, methods for determining the causal relationship between variables, general problems of measurements, ethical issues encountered while conducting research in social relations, data collection processes and using existing data as source material, data processing, analysis and interpretation, and preparing a research report.
