Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the building materials commonly used in traditional buildings and to provide information about their properties and the use of these materials in traditional buildings.
Course Content
The content of the course consists of general information about the construction techniques used in traditional buildings and the definitions and properties of traditional building materials such as stone, wood, adobe, traditional mortars, brick, ceramics, iron, etc.
