Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to gain the knowledge and skills to explain the behavior of rod structural systems, create structural models in these systems, calculate the support reaction of simple beams, gerber beams and three-hinged frames and draw internal force diagrams, and calculate rod force in plane truss systems.

Course Content

This course consists of information about bar systems, section effects and section effect diagrams in these systems, simple beams, gerber beams, three-jointed arches and frames, and calculation of plane truss systems.
