Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to develop knowledge about the basic concepts and history of landscape architecture, sustainable landscape design, vegetative design principles and characteristics of garden and ornamental plants, and to increase design skills related to open and green areas in architectural projects.
Course Content
The content of this course consists of basic concepts in landscape architecture and the history of landscape architecture, human-nature relationships, landscape design in the context of sustainability, land shaping and leveling, garden and ornamental plants, planting design principles, landscape construction elements and sample applications.
