Course Goal / Objective

It is a study to provide conceptual and theoretical application-oriented information on typological analysis techniques, to provide skills in classification as a result of architectural analysis and to establish architectural design relationships with classified types.

Course Content

The content of the course includes typology concepts and theories, type concept in architectural history and examination with examples, evaluation of typological analysis techniques, applications of typological analysis techniques in different buildings, typological analysis techniques and classification studies, establishing architectural design relations with classified architectural types, examination of typological buildings and the relationship between housing typologies, examination of typological buildings and their examples in buildings.
