Course Goal / Objective
To gain awareness about the working principles and methods of landscape architects. To comprehend the principles of plant design and the properties of garden and ornamental plants, to learn the necessary information for design decisions related to open and green areas in architectural projects.
Course Content
The content of the course includes basic concepts in landscape architecture, history of landscape architecture, human-nature relationship, landscape design in the context of sustainability, land shaping and leveling, landscape elements, garden and ornamental plants, landscape construction elements, sample application analyses, and development of landscape design ideas.
