Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to analyse the user-housing relationship in the context of the design process, the concept of participation and participatory approach methods, to examine the historical development of mass housing, social housing and single housing designs by questioning user participation in the housing design process; to gain the ability to discuss current methods and approaches through sample projects.
Course Content
This course covers the ability to examine mass housing, social housing and individual housing designs throughout the historical process, to construct a design process with a user-centered perspective on today's housing design approaches, and to discuss current methods and approaches with sample projects.
