Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is for students to understand the necessity and importance of occupational health and safety, to gain the necessary knowledge and skills on how to carry out improvement work on these issues with modern techniques and the legal and ethical dimensions of the subject.
Course Content
The content of this course includes basic occupational safety concepts, history of occupational safety, general principles of occupational health and safety, risk definition and risk assessment, occupational hygiene, occupational diseases, precautions against occupational accidents and occupational health problems, ergonomics, and personal protective equipment.
