Course Goal / Objective
This course is to learn the precautions to be taken against water (pressurized or unpressurized water) that may threaten buildings from inside and outside; to learn the technical information supported by the application in line with the necessary information on solving detail problems in the use of green terraces, pools, etc. that can achieve original designs.
Course Content
The importance and purpose of waterproofing in the building, methods of protection against pressurized and unpressurized water, causes and places of moisture formation in the building, insulation types and methods, waterproofing materials, foundations, roofs, warm volumes, waterproofing details in the framework of Turkish standards.
