Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to give students the capacity to frame research questions, formulate research structure, gather information about the cases, make analysis and provide interpretation skill.

Course Content

In this course, the topics of why research is done, the logic of analysis, selection and formulation of a research problem, exploratory and descriptive studies, methods for determining causal relationships among variables, general problems of measurements, ethical issues in the conduct of research in social relations, data collection, sampling theory, use of available data as source material, data processing, analysis and interpretation, research report, quantitative and qualitative data analyses will be covered.
