Course Goal / Objective

To provide the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to distinguish, correctly pronounce, write and use medical terms related to human structure and diseases.

Course Content

Introduction to medical terminology, roots, prefixes, diagnostic suffixes, suffixes indicating application and action, suffixes used to recognize symptoms, medical abbreviations, general medical terms, professional medical terms.
