Course Goal / Objective
Basic aim of this course to create a formation of economics for students of communication studies. First part of the course micro economics, second part of this course is macro economics.
Course Content
Economics as a social science and method in economics, basic concepts of economics, basic concepts of microeconomics, market, demand and supply, demand and supply elasticities, consumer theory, production theory, cost theory, consumer and producer balance, different market types, perfect competition market , monopoly, oligopoly, monopolistic competition, game theory and economic applications, externalities, public goods and taxation, market regulations, factor markets, Income Distribution Policy.
