Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the metabolism of biomolecules in the mammalian organism. By focusing on the basic mechanisms of carbohydrate, lipid, protein, and nucleic acid metabolism, energy production processes, regulatory pathways, and metabolic events, it is aimed to provide students with the ability to understand and interpret the functioning of biochemical processes in the organism.
Course Content
This course explains general concepts of biochemical metabolism, hormones, carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism. It also teaches a course on metabolic relationships and the consequences of biochemical events in tissues and organs.
