Course Goal / Objective

PhaseTransitions and Nonlinear Sytems applies well-known numerical methods to solve practical EM problems.

Course Content

Basic Ideas, Phase Diagrams, Symmetry, Order of Phase Transitions, Order Parameter, Conservative and Nonconservative order parameters, First Order Phase Transitions, Second Order Phase Transitions, The Ising model.
