Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach students the basic principles, structure and operating logic of programmable control circuits (PLCs). This course aims to make students competent in programming, implementation and troubleshooting of PLCs that are widely used in industrial automation systems.

Course Content

Introduction to Vijeo Citect, Configuration Environment, Project management, Project Management, Communication Settings, Charts, Commands and Controls, Genies (Allows the use of Graphics and objects together), Popup (small window) and Super Genies, Devices, Events, Alarm Systems , Trends, Process Analysis, Reports, Menu Configuration
