Course Goal / Objective
To ensure that the student learns the duties and responsibilities of the Fashion Designer profession by experiencing it in the real environment, To prepare the student to take responsibility in the production process and process steps extending from raw materials to the final product in a business, To ensure that the student receives training in departments where he/she can take part in the profession, Professional ethics, human health, occupational safety, quality, environment To ensure that students gain sensitivity on issues such as, To ensure that they learn the importance of business discipline, teamwork, interdisciplinary cooperation, individual competencies and human relations in businesses, business and professional life by observing and experiencing, To ensure that they develop oral and written communication skills, To prepare them for professional life.
Course Content
Getting to know the factory and people. Information about the history of the factory, its machinery, layout and administrative and technical structure. Having information about the workflow in the factory, taking orders and planning production. Monitoring production in the factory, analyzing and solving problems encountered during production, obtaining information about existing machines, learning their functions and settings. Working in production and production control. Carrying out product quality control. Pattern department, purchasing, sales and marketing etc. Monitoring the contribution and workflow of units such as production. Monitoring issues related to environmental health and worker safety. Monitoring final product controls, preparing files and making necessary corrections.
