Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce the application and evaluation of basic biochemical analysis methods and experimental results with theoretical knowledge.
Course Content
In this course, introduction of the rules and devices to be followed in the laboratory, Carbohydrates and general recognition reactions, Determination of glucose in blood, Properties and reactions of amino acids, Determination of amino acids by paper chromatography, Determination of amino acids by titrimetric method (formol titration), Titration curves of amino acids: isoelectric point determination. , General reactions of proteins, Determination of protein in serum, Determination of salivary amylase activity, Determination of serum alkaline phosphatase activity, General reactions of lipids, Determination of cholesterol in serum are covered.
