Course Goal / Objective

Reproductive performance in farm animals determines the level of production and genetic progress to be achieved. Assisted Reproductive Techniques include techniques that include processing of sperm, oocyte and embryos obtained from animals under laboratory conditions. Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to convey the current information about reproductive techniques to the students.

Course Content

Description and importance of reproduction in farm animals, explaining the factors affecting reproduction, revealing the technological methods applied in reproduction, etc.

Course Precondition

None

Resources

Controlled Reproduction in Sheep and Goats. Reproductive Technologies in Farm Animals
