Course Goal / Objective

This course introduces the structure and design of agricultural information systems at all scales needed to be able to access, integrate, use and share production, research and spatial data from different agricultural information sources.

Course Content

This course covers the topics on Information systems analysis, types of information systems, design and implementation of information systems, relational databases, data modelling, data querying, building a small scale information systems for agriculture, food and environment.

Course Precondition

To have taken the course on Basic Information Technology Usage.
