Course Goal / Objective
Building a knowledge about the industrial applicaitons of thin coatings, phyiscal/chemical properties and development of project ideas.
Course Content
Metallic and organic coatings and their applications (protection, surface sensitizing, tuning physical properties etc.), surface treatments and finishing in industrial applications, application techniques for coatings on various substrates, assessment of coating quality and lifetime, degradation of coatings.
