Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce nanomaterials used in applications related to environmental science and technologies, to grasp the latest developments, to review and discuss production techniques, cost, material properties and potential applications in the field.
Course Content
This lecture presents production techniques for nanomaterials to be used at environmental applications. An overview of recent advances in nanotechnology for membrane materials used in water and wastewater treatment applications were reviewed and discussed in regards to production technique, cost, material properties, and their potential applications in the field. The topics include advances in nanotechnology in terms of membrane production and applications, classification of membrane nanomaterials, production of membranes using nanotechnology.
