Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce the Mesopotamian seal (gylptic) art of the 2nd and 1st millennium BC in terms of form, subject, style and iconography.
Course Content
In this course, the seal art of the 2nd (Isin Larsa, Old Babylonian, Old Assyrian, Kassite, Middle Assyrian, Mitanni and Old-Classical Syrian Periods) and 1st millennium (Late Assyrian and Late Babylonian Periods) BC in Mesopotamia is explained.
